Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have sold their Los Feliz home, apparently to move up north after souring of Los Angeles (according to the tabloids). The famously private couple of a decade has been looking to escape Los Angeles since at least 2018, when they were outbid on an estate in San Marino, California.

Their primary residence of more than a decade — a century-old house in Los Feliz — has been sold for nearly $5 million to a non-celebrity couple in an off-market deal. Mendes acquired the 3,900-square-foot property in 2008, and it has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, pool, detached studio and garage. Gosling has also sold his Studio City bachelor pad- which became a crash pad for family and friends after his union with Mendes- in another off-market deal to his wardrobe stylist Mark Avery.

Ryan and Eva won't be without a place in California, though! Since 2014, the couple and their two daughters have maintained a vacation home about two hours’ drive north of Los Angeles, in the Santa Barbara County town of Carpinteria. You can see pics of that farmhouse home at the source and Architectural Digest.

No clues as to where Gosling and Mendes are off to next. Canada? New York? But bye-bye to Los Angeles!
